Our rehabilitation program
Rehabilitation at Bethesda Mount Hospital is delivered by a multidisciplinary team working to a plan built around your goals. Your program is set following assessment and reviewed regularly through your stay.
Who the program is for
- Patients recovering from orthopaedic surgery, including joint replacement.
- Patients recovering from cardiac or cardiothoracic surgery.
- Patients requiring reconditioning following an extended hospital stay.
- Patients referred directly by their specialist or general practitioner.
Your care team
Rehabilitation physicians, nursing staff, physiotherapists, occupational therapists, dieticians, social workers and speech pathologists work together on your program, with allied health provided following referral from your consultant.
Referrals
Health professionals can submit a rehabilitation referral through the eReferrals portal. This remains a Healthscope system during the transition period.
